VII Erasmus Staff Week: Management and Promotion of Internationalization

The Vice-Chancellor for Coordination and Internationalization cordially invites you to participate in the VII Erasmus Staff Week that will take place at the University of Murcia from 11th-15th May 2015.

The theme of the event will be “Management and Promotion of Internationalization"

Programme

The five-day programme will include sessions and workshops on the following:

  • Overview of University of Murcia and current issues in Higher Education
  • International and European Mobility Programmes
  • International Student Support and Integration
  • Erasmus +. KA1 and KA2: current state and prospects

There are also opportunities to participate in cultural activities and to meet staff from the University of Murcia.

Target group

The programme is aimed towards members of staff in Higher Education institutions who work in international offices.

We also expect that all participants are willing and able to take active part in debates and in some cases also hold a short presentation about their universities.

The communication language will be English.

Registration

If you are interested in attending this event please complete the application form by 26th March 2015. Application form can be found on the top of this page, click on the button “Register”.

A maximum of two participants per university/institution are eligible to apply to allow the opportunity for representation from a wide-range of institutions. A total number of 30 participants can be accepted onto the programme and participants will be accepted based on reasons for application, experience in working within an international higher education environment and the institution you currently work at.

Cost

Please note that participants will be expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs through the Erasmus staff mobility funds available from your home institution.

There is no participation fee for the programme.

Accommodation

Participants will be sent hotels availability and rates upon confirmation of participation. We have prepared a selection of hotels located in the city centre. Please note that these prices are only applicable if reservations are made through our Accommodation Service "VIMUR" (vimur@um.es).
