The "Encuentros de Álgebra Computacional y Aplicaciones, EACA" (Meetings on Computer Algebra and Applications) are among the main activities of the Spanish "Red Temática de Cálculo Simbólico, Álgebra Computacional y Aplicaciones" (Red-EACA), to provide a meeting frame for researchers in the fields of Computer Algebra and Symbolic Computation, and for those who use these techniques in their research. 
 
The Spanish network Red-EACA is partially supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, under the Acciones de Dinamización "Redes de Excelencia" MTM2016-81932-REDT.
 
This XVI Meeting (biannual since 2002) is the natural continuation of those organized in Santander (1995), Sevilla (1996), Granada (1997), Sigüenza (1998)Tenerife (1999)Barcelona (2000)Ezcaray (2001) Topics

  • Algorithmic Complexity

  • Submissions' deadline: FEBRUARY 27, 2018
  • Notification of acceptance: APRIL 20, 2018
  • Deadline to apply for financial support: APRIL 27, 2018
  • Final version of accepted extended abstracts: MAY 11, 2018
  • Early registration deadline: MAY 31, 2018
  • Conference: JULY 4-6, 2018.
 

SUBMISSIONS

 


Participation at EACA 2018 can be done through an oral presentation. Everyone doing research and/or applications around the topics of the meeting are welcome to participate.

Contributions should present recent and original research work.

Authors willing to submit a proposal for an oral communication at EACA 2018 should send an extended abstract of their contribution, with no more than 4 pages, by February 20, 2018.

The extended abstract may be written in English or Spanish.

The LaTeX file
templateEACA2018.tex contains the template that should be used to prepare an extended abstract. The LaTeX file and pdf files must be sent through the entry My Documents in the Documentation Menu of the web site; in case of trouble, it can be sent by electronic mail to xvieaca@unizar.es with the subject Submission

Authors will receive notification of acceptance/rejection of their communication as well as on the possible changes requested by the Scientific Committee, by April 20th, 2018.

A final version of the accepted abstracts will be requested for inclusion in the Proceedings.

For each talk 20 minutes are allowed, plus 5 minutes for discussion.

We encourage participants to use English in the written documents used in their presentations (this will facilitate the communication among participants).

As usual in the series of EACA's conferences, all extended abstracts of accepted papers will be gathered at a book of Proceedings.
