Our keynote speakers will share their views on what types of interventions have worked well (effective interventions) and what sort of lessons we have learned from bad experiences (ineffective interventions).

In this call for papers, we encourage submissions of complete papers or extended abstracts that use experimental or quasi-experimental methods to evaluate interventions in the field. Methodological papers advancing the state of knowledge of programme evaluation techniques are also welcome. A scientific committee will review submitted papers. Sessions will be mainly face-to-face. If you would like to present online (or have to present online), your presentation will be projected on a large screen. Deadlines for submission of papers and registration are enlisted here:

  • Submission of papers: NOW open
  • Deadline for submission: 5 January 2022  (New date: 17 April 2022)

Would you like to run your own experiment or use network analysis for your MSc/PhD thesis  or research papers?

As part of the Conference on Human Capital Investments, Middlesex University, Loyola and Fundación ETEA offer to all early career researchers registered in the Conference on Human Capital Investments a block of 6 courses in development economics, climate change and networks. These courses will be taught by six experts and will focus on the black box behind lab, lab-in-the-field, and field experiments, as well as behind network analysis.
